To pray for the guidance and success of the takers for the 2021 November Nursing Licensure Examinations, the UST College of Nursing held a Sendoff Mass for their graduates on November 20 at UST Santisimo Rosario Parish.
A total of 58 alums from batches 2019, 2020, and 2021 will take their exams starting this Sunday, November 21, and the second day on November 22.
"Ang challenge sa atin, para sa mga nagdadasal na pumasa sa board examinations, we should actually transcend our prayers and wishes from one which is earthly to a heavenly wish or prayer. Dapat makikita natin na yung pagiging isang nurse ay isang paraan lamang para makatulong sa ibang tao," remarked Rev. Fr. Julius Paul Factora, Regent, UST CON.
Annika Banguilan, one of the takers, expressed how praying helped prepare for the exams. She adds that confidence in their four years in the college and trusting themselves and the good foundation built by the college is also needed.
"No matter what, rest assured, [know] that we are all praying for you. Pray and trust God that he will give you the ability to remember everything that you have studied. Kailangan lang magtiwala kayo sa sarili ninyo na kaya ninyo," closed Dean Rowena Escolar Chua.
The UST College of Nursing is looking to maintain a 7-year streak of a 100 percent passing rate in the PNLE.
