SULONG: UST Nursing Online Campaign

The UST Nursing Commission on Election (COMELEC) marks March 21 to April 2 as the timeline for the online electoral campaign for candidates vying for positions in the Nursing Central Board of Students for the school year 2022-2023.

The three candidates running for this year's local student council elections include Charles Hezekiah Importante (independent) for President, Nicole Christiane Olvido (independent) for Vice President, and Sebastian Dela Fuente from Bisig Partylist for Secretary.

Hours after the affirmation of the en banc for online campaigning, the three aspirants produced clips on their own Facebook pages introducing themselves and their platforms.

On March 23, candidates presented their credibility in managing the highest position, showing their experience, accomplishments, seminar participation, and credentials.

One of the most prominent aspects of this online campaign is the "ASK AWAY! A chance for a student nurse to directly ask questions to aspirants." According to the UST Nursing Comelec, this event will provide a platform for communication, which is essential in building trust between students and their selected candidates.
