In a spectacular display of athleticism and camaraderie, the Thomasian Goodwill Games inaugurated its Opening Ceremony on February 27, 2024 at the Quadricentennial Pavilion, setting the stage for a month-long celebration of sportsmanship and unity within the UST community.
Exemplifying fervor and sportsmanship, under the stewardship of the Nursing Varsity Council Chief, Adrin Reodica (3NUR4), Captains Yvo Cruz (4NUR2) for the Nursing Men’s Basketball Team (NMBT) and Dredheart Fermil (3NUR2) for the Nursing Women’s Basketball Team (NWBT) set an admirable standard, demonstrating the spirit of fair competition that defines the Goodwill Games. Their commitment to teamwork and leadership set a powerful tone for the events to come.
Ma. Kathrina Cudia of 4NUR2, crowned Ms. Stellar at last Year’s Nursing Week pageant, was awarded the distinguished title Best Muse.
Guiding the teams were Coach Carl Bancoro (NMBT) and Coach Jeffrey Tuscano (NWBT) under the supervision of the teams respective Faculty Managers Asst. Prof. Dennis Cuadra and Asst. Prof. John Vincent Ignacio.
