Newly registered Thomasian nurses celebrate at Thanksgiving mass

A Thanksgiving Mass was held for the newly licensed Thomasian nurses at the Santisimo Rosario Parish on January 17.

Entitled 'Radiance,' full-fledged Thomasian nurses graced the event in their all-white uniforms, pins, and caps, joined by UST CON volunteers, faculty members, and parents.

College Regent Rev. Fr. Julius Paul Factora bestowed blessings upon the newly registered nurses, and UST Nursing Alumni Association president Dr. Carl Balita shared a message congratulating and wishing luck to the nurses as they begin their professional journey.

Following the Mass was a reception and banquet held at the Mezzanine of St. John Paul II Building. Performances entertained the audience courtesy of the Nursing Dance Troupe and Chorus of the Nightingale.

The events were organized by the Nursing Central Board of Students and Pax Romana.

Last November 2023, 300 students from Batch 2023 achieved a 100% passing rate in the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination, marking the ninth consecutive spotless mark of UST CON in the nursing board examinations with 7 graduates making it to the top 10.
