NCBS caps off Nursing Week 2021

The Nursing Central Board of Students formally concluded the college’s 4-day diamond anniversary celebration with awards and talent ceremony on November 20, 2021.

The Nursing Network: UST College of Nursing Culminating Event aimed to recognize and award the winners of the events hosted by the nursing student organization during the 75th anniversary celebration of the college.

These activities include Game On: The UST CON E-Sports Event; Crystal Hunt: Code Blue, Nurse!; Illuminate: Ctrl Alt Escape, Nurses!; and Sinespaña: The UST CON Film Festival.

The event also featured Thomasian performers from both students and faculty members, within and outside the college. La Lirica winner Jose Antonio Avellana’s piece was played, among other vocal performances from the Chorus of the Nightingales, Pharmacy Glee Club, and AACS.

The segment “The Nursing Reflex” also showcased the faculty members’ dancing talents, with the dance group Destiny’s Children winning Best in Costume and Best in Dancing.
