CON students face off at Family Feud nursing event

Nursing students went head-to-head at NJ in Everland, an online Family Feud event held by the UST Nursing Journal on November 19 from 3 to 5 pm.

The program was hosted by Aleigha Daquinag of 3NUR2 and Kathleen Manuel of 3NUR5.

Carrying the theme of Disney’s Peter Pan, the event kicked off with charades as an icebreaker. The program then proceeded to the main Family Feud event where four groups, namely Pan, Hook, Tinkerbell, and John, competed to guess the most number of words for five categories.

Six hidden words per category were color-coded with yellow, green, and red, corresponding to 100, 300, and 500 points respectively. Participants raced to have the first turn in providing a word.

Pan, consisting of Gabrielle Yanga of 3NUR7 and Roechen Mendoza of 3NUR5, ultimately won the first place after garnering a total of 2,800 points.

"NJ in Everland" was held in celebration of Nursing Week among the multitude of events prepared by the College's other organizations and the Nursing Central Board of Students.
